Promoting high-quality clinical research in children through strengthened international collaboration.

In London on 16th May 2017 the ninth annual workshop of the European network of paediatric research at the EMA (Enpr-EMA) will take place.

The Enpr-EMA, European Network of Paediatric Research at the European Medicines Agency An umbrella network of research networks, investigators and centres (39 national and international) with recognised expertise in performing clinical studies in children.
It has been set up to make easy the execution of clinical studies in children.

INCIPIT is going to apply as member of Enpr-EMA.

Its actions will be focus on promotioning high quality, ethical research on the quality, safety and efficacy of medicines for use in children.

In this meeting the relevant stakeholders are going to discuss requisites, obstacles and chances for high-quality clinical studies in children.

Amongst the highlights of this year’s workshop are the recent solicitation to increase cooperation between the European Union and the United States to facilitate global paediatric trials and medicine progress.
